Guys,
Do you think it is kosha to go to the GSXR day at Eastern Creek in December, if so is anyone thinking of going?
G
Apparently at the one recently held on Phillip Island the Hayabusa wasn't classed as a GSXR, so we probably won't be able to go anyway...

Who wants to be held up by slow gsxr's around a track anyway Fastest member of the canberra chapter......thats not saying much for canberra
That sounds shit. To be rejected by our own flesh and blood! I think we should gather the troops and head down to let suzuki know that we aren't a forgotten chapter!
To be really pandantic, isn't the busa a GSX?
That's right, the trailing R is just an expletive of pleasure.
As in AAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRR!
Rgds BUSGO
"TAKE MY ADVICE"
I'm not using it anyway!
Sorry to burst the bubble, but next time you go out to lick your bling machine in the shed, take special notice of the decal on the tail..... Some may be so used to cleaning their bikes like this that you may even be able to read by brail. It says (and I know that it hurts to hear this)
..."GSX 1300 R"...
How could any of you not have seen that?? ?? ?? ?? ??
You own a fantastic "Hyper Sports Tourer" as Suzuki puts it.
Not a GSXR.
Right. Thank god that's over-with. Cheers,
Holge

Wh would you want to take on a gsx track day anyway? putting a busa up against a gixxer thou on a track is like taking a fat chick to a dance comp against Torvill and dean.
Well, I for one would be pissed off if this was happening over here. It's not like you'd have a bag strapped to the tank or anything is it?
thats not good at all... at the end of the day, it still says GSXR in the stickers.. Cheers.Grantwww.blingpartsaustralia.com.au
no. GSX 1300 R is what is says. sorry mate
Cheers,

They prolly dont want the big overweighted understeered lump holding up the boys on the real race track machines.
However if the BMW club have a track day in sure you'll get in.
Once you go black, you'll never look back !!!
It would be interesting to hear what the lap times are for the road registered gixxers on the day.Owning a fast bike doesn,t make you a fast rider. From what i,ve seen on many track days only the racers can tap into the gixxers potential as i rounded up most road registered versions on the vfr.The journos are doing 1min42,s on stock k5/6 but you could count on one hand how many road riders without a racing licence who can do that as most journos are ex or current racers anyway.
Well said spa man.
Anyone can ride a fast bike, but not many can ride a bike fast. FF1 Cheers,
