Wheel Plating??

Does anyone out there have any info on wheel plating?
Am told that it gives the same look as polishing without the on-going labour requirement to keep them looking good.Also wanting to know what is involved in the process,and if there are any reputable electro-platers in South Eastern Queensland/North Eastern N.S.W..

I rang em,$990-00 total both wheels,and maintenance is simple, wash with water/detergent,and an occasional polish,sounds good, but obviously not cheap, doesn't matter though got tomorrow nights $3 Mill lotto win earmarked for some serious Bus mods !!!!
