quickshifter brands

soooo guys, i know this has been covered before, but i havnt found the info im chassing, am i right in thinking, and after days of searching that there is only a couple of different quickshifters for the gen1??

im looking for a stand alone unit, as i dont run a power commander, and not real keen on the one thats adjusted through ecu editor,

i know HM do one, but id like to think of that one as a last option, as i really dont want to spend a million bucks if i dont have to, the bazzaz qs4 is also around the same price give or take, so are there any suggestions? or has support for these models pretty much died in the ass?

I know you don't want a power commander, but I just bought this today
for $100 which is a bit different to their own expensive actuator.

There is also Translogic from UK. They came as a stand alone unit or can be controlled by the ECU it is up to you what you prefer. I have HM on my busa and Translogic on my track bike and it works very well. The only difference is that the HM works both ways - on upshift and downshift. They are not cheap (all the good ones) but do you want to risk blowing-up your gearbox with a cheapie?

im sure anything will help my gearbox, i currently clutchless up and down without one, id like to say i wasnt so agressive with it, but i really have no mechanical sympathy lol, once the box is proper shagged ill be pulling it apart and having the gears back cut anyway
