Fresh Blood
#1
Hey to all

So here i am, fresh blood for the group.

My name is Doug, i live in Casino (northern NSW) have grown up with bikes, but picked up my 2011 Busa 2 weeks ago (Blue one)

My rides:
First rego'd bike - 1993 Yamaha DT175 Lol3
Then: 2001 Ducati Monster 750 - STILL HAVE THIS ONE
Then: 2006 GSX-R600
Now: 2011 Busa - 1000kms on it so far - LOVING IT Smitten

Plans for the Busa are Yoshi's with PCV, some more carbon fibre and some good riding. I may end up going to town on it with full airbrush/custom paint (2 schemes worked out and detailed - just cant decide), but for now im just loving being back on the road.

Had a big off a bit over a yr ago 13/7/2010 - a lovely morning on the way to work and a perfect gentleman in a hilux decided he would start his day by T-Boning me and my Duke Idiot2

The Ducati is half complete now, and will be my show piece along side the Busa.

Hope to meet some of you out and about soon, happy riding Biker

G-Day Doug, good to see you have seen the light and are now the proud owner of the most re-veered production bike on the planet.Biker
Northern Rivers is a nice area, although the roads in and around Lismore are crap. The first 3 upgrades I would do are-
1- Yoshi R77 full system, carbon can. Pi_thumbsup
2- Forget the PVC, have the ECU reflashed. Pi_thumbsup
3- Get rid of the back torque limiter in the clutch.Pi_thumbsup

This forum has oodles of info on the above and just about anything else you can think of- Enjoy!!!!!
Mark.

Hi Doug Welcome to the club. Once you ride a Busa you never go back. I can see the duc becoming a piece of art on the shed wallCoolsmiley.

A piece of art yes, shed wall no.....

It will still be ridden, probably more often when i ride with my family - another 5 Ducati's and a few other little bikes there, so not ideal with the Busa as i will leave them behind - oh how the tables have turned.....

Already have 100K on the monster too, love it, great fun bike, great streetfighter/cafe racer/commuter. But the Busa has been my dream bike for a long time now and the more i ride it the more i love it Smitten
