Cheap air compressor
#1
My dinky little $29 plug into cigarette lighter compressor smoked and died yesterday. It was used to pump up the pushie's tyres, soccer ball etc. even topped up the 'busa's tyres occasionally.

So I needed a new one for that "occasional" use.
Decent 12 volt ones were from $75 - $300 depending quality.

I've always wanted a proper compressor, one to sit in the corner of the shed. Nothing too big, so went looking today.
About $150 for a little compressor, then extra for hoses, extra for nozzles, extra for tyre inflater etc. not much change outa $400

Then called into Supa cheap auto.

Don't know for how long, but, they currently have a special $89 for similar compressor to the $150 one else where. Included in the deal is an extra box of all the attachments, plus box of connections. So now have compressor in shed, blower for cleaning, attachment for cleaning with degreaser etc. Tyre inflater with gauge, spray painting gun, 5 metres of hose . . .all for $89. (rang thru the register at $179-still cheap) Quality is fairly average, but for non professional apps it is ideal. and at $89 can't go wrong. - Yes, I checked and it works!!GREAT

I'm wrapped! thought I'd share as it seemed too good to be true.

I've had one for a couple of years, little 2hp one from there, worked the air tools just about enough, blows me tyres up, lets me play with my airbrush, even used it to paint the door on me old 4by.

I've had one of those for a few years. Basically only use it to pump up the tyres now, but it's still good value. I didn't find it any good for power tools (tightening or loosening bolts) but still nice for screwing the rear wheel bolt on and such before tightening it by hand.
Carpe Diem!

I didnt use it with any degree of seriousness with air tools. Was good enough of a 3/8dr ratchet doing me timing belt and minor stuff. Wouldnt drive a 1/2inch rattle gun etc
