potential ride

been away for a while.

i have posted a few planned ride days up before without much response, it has been a while so i thought i would try again

weather permitting thinking about getting out and about on sunday.mudgeeraba servo meet up. followed by a run up springbrook then head south through the ranges down murwillumbah then maybe nibin across to lismore modenville onto mullumbimby then coolamon scenic drive back to ocean shores exit then back to gcoast.

all welcome will have several waypoints where the faster or less frequent stop type riders can wait for the slower ones.

may be able to meet up with a few nrth nsw members on this one as well

any suggestions on planned route more then welcome

should be about 4 to 5 hour ride

total km is 285km

checked out sat images roads look good with enough intresting sections for the twisty enthusiasts

probably take in a food stop somewhere along the way

I have a bit on this weekend but should be able to make the other shorter ride organised by Diablo weather permitting. I would be interested in going on ride with you and Busa 666 when time permits, maybe you and he could come along on this other ride on Saturday to meet up, Steve.

Sorry I won't be able to make Sunday Surfabusa, family committments. I have gone for many rides with Greg (GC busa), Bill (Xhiler8ter), Rod and Shane (Shredder), and many other members, including runs to Breakfast Creek, the Storey Bridge Bike Show, Bike Week and even Willowbank. I am keen to meet up with other members, including Pommie, Busa666 and mia06. Like you, I have, in the past, posted numerous rides which have resulted in little to no response, however, I have met some great people here. It just takes some persistance.

If you are available on Saturday, I ould enjoy riding with you.

Working Sunday so cant do it. I was on the Nimbin rd not too long ago and if you have false teeth or loose fillings your gonna lose em. Man its rough as guts. I wont ride that road and the Kyogle Murwullimbah I wont do without a miners helmet and a torch on the front incase I go down a pothole. Last year I broke a rib after being launched off the bike and landing on the tank from that stretch from hitting a hump in the middle of a corner It was either hit the lump and get launched or hit the gravel and washout and fall over the edge. Dont know how they have the nerve to call it a road

for any forum members who have not meet up there b4 take the 2nd mudgeeraba exit if coming from the north(heading south) turn right at the lights over the bridge left at the round about and into the servo. i think its a caltex

coming from the south you there will be an exit into the servo

i have to agree with the goat track status the first time we done the trip however there was a lot of road works going on and the last trip that way was not to bad when we done a ballina run

i may be able to squeeze a saturday run in just have to juggle work i will pm you steve or diablo

cut a long story short diablo in am mia06(missing in action) i had forgot my log in details and for some reason the remind password link was not sending me log in details when clicked so i had to re join, low and behold forgot mia06 password and password link sends me surfabusa, sorry for any confussion
