Listed for Gen II .....but can see no reason it would not work on Gen I. Having no in dash gear indicator would be a problem when checking or setting what mode your running as nothing to reference setting to.

The XT-S01 is listed for the Gen 2 bike. There is no X-tre listing for the Gen 1 from our listings (we distribute this product line). That said, the same GI-Pro works on both bikes.

I've asked the factory to confirm this one and will post on the Gen 1 compatibility once I get a reply.

Confrimation from the factory (he works late).

The X-Tre WILL NOT work with a Gen 1 bike. You need the GiPro-S02 ATRE and Gear Indicator. Club Price available.

Also note this is a second hand unit taken from a bike that was flashed.
So it's Gen II Busa Xtre thats available.
