Was up at the Qld Astro-Fest in Linville, 2.5hrs from Brissy.
last Sunday was -4.5deg at 6.30am
Notice the "white" gearsack & the un-shiny pipe.....
Had a great time tho. &my new scope got to meet a couple of it's siblings from the same maker. (the red/brown scope is mine, the little scope was a ring-in)
looks bbbbbblooody ccccold! (and I thought -1 at Falls creek today was chilly- and I was in a toasty warm bus!) Could you hear any "clanging" as you walked around, or had they dissappeared?
Was very cold Baz. I have a 6x4 enclosed trailer for the scope, which I sleep in. There was ice on the INSIDE when I woke up.
No clanging, my sleeping bag is a high altitude one & is really toasty.
Plenty of stuff to see, if you like looking at the night sky. Was a great week.
Here's another pic of some others that attended.
