i could turn the GPX into a track bike up until it was sold it was a really quick road bike took it up the putty and its handled 160km's really easy

Tell him there are a couple of us interested in them & ask Him whats a fair price & PM me if hes interested
looks like the freight maybe worth as much as bikes are worth

simmo i will thank you for the offer mate but this guy will be wanting his ful payment $770 as the bikes were in good condition at the time . i did say i would advertise them for him and he stated in an email to me that if the bikes sold for more than what he paid that he was entitled to the entire amount of money , i replyed with a few choice words lol . i will email him again and see what he wants but there shit simmo 1 has a blown motor the other is a good restorer . PM me with an offer simmo and let me know mate .

i also spoke to "FAIR TRADEING" and they have said i have given him a fair chance to pick the items up

umm.. i dont get it

you have a completed transaction. a valid one. you have no legal responsibility for the items. they belong to him and he has no right to a refund of any kind.

deterioration is his problem

i think the dude has managed to sell you on the idea that you owe him something. you dont. he is a stranger, a dude you never met who failed to collect goods you sold. entirely his issue and not one you have to be involved in solving. the dude has you feeling all conflicted and putting up with inconvenience, good job on his part, but surely not necessary that you are put upon like that.

you know, you could exit stage left, and put the dude in touch with the chappies interested in buying. the loss in value is one he just has to wear. the alternative is he gets nothing for them when u put them out for the hard rubbish collection

you have done the right thing by the guy above and beyond. dont feel bad about drawing the line.
