Removing those plastic body clips
#1
Hi,

Does anyone have a good way to remove the black plastic body clips without destroying them?

I am about to remove the rear frame cover and would rather have some clips to re-instate when I put it back on.
No problem any more - sorted how to deal with the little buggers :)
Problem solved - little buggers are sorted :)

Yeah took me a while to work out that you push the center in first, then they practically fall out.

If it's a gen2 be carefull u don't mix the clips from that picture and the ones in the centre between the front seat and rear seat. They are diff diameters. Couldn't work out why my fairings weren't quite as snug as before...

Exactly right!!Clap I have frigged with these for years on the busa, then bought a new car - the whole bloody engine compartment is full of the little buggers. When pushing them 'home' all the way, they kept falling out Wtf Then realised exactly that. Push in 'till level, locked in. Push in further - out she pops.
Checked the ones on the busa(gen1) exactly the same.Trophy

I remember that was one of the first discussions the brand new busa club had, we smashed a whole heap of them before we worked the bloody things out!
