The Domino's driver was apparently held up at knifeponit and he legged it, leaving the keys in the car. Thanks for the info will definately look into that. Be very aware if you have the misfortune to have a claim through Swann - no communication, a different story from each person you talk to & although it's your policy and you have paid the annual premium you have absolutely no say whatsoever in what happens to your bike.

Thats bullS*&^&T take it further, where in the policy would it say your not insured for clowns like that, the car owners insurance should cover it, if insured well thats swans problem, anyway swan should go after that poor bugger or his insurance company that what you pay for, for them to sort it out..

I think swan is only offered through bike outlets, so they pay a commision to the seller, so they need to recover that cost.I review mine every year & call to get a quote.
I reckon shannons are a rip off since they become general vehicle insurers, qbe are good , i'm with arista but i'm a old ntuc so my costs are relativley low. I've never made a claim so can only make judgement on policy cost.

Went in to central coast motorcycles today. They informed me that a claim for a tyre due to a nail, was approved by swann but to date has not been paid to central coast motorcycles. This happend 4 months ago.We took out an extra policy for tyre and rim insurance. After hearing this today,we cancelled all our policys with swann insurance. DO NOT INSURE WITH SWANN.
good idea mate hope it all gets sorted asap!
