Cluncking gears when changing up gears.

I have an 04 busa. It now has 27,000kms on the clock.
I use it for daily transport into the city every day

I am getting bad cluncking noises when changing up gears. Sort of as if the clutch isn't engaging fully.

Seams to be getting slowly worse compared to say a few months ago.

Doesn't seam to be slipping, (Like at 110kph you can wind it on and it won't just rev like a slipping clutch would)

I have bled the line. Was good for the first trip into the city but after that it was back to what it is doing now.

Any ideas on what might be the problem? Need new clutch pads, springs?

Dont know, seldom use clutch when changing up, just touch the lever, (same like driving truck) clutch is for start/stops, and for smoothing out down changes when blipping throttle.
Got way over 100,000k - no clunks.

- But if it's getting worse . . . get it checked!

Sounds like you need to buy my Pingel Easy Shifter in the parts for sale section. Brand new. Got 1 on mine now. Pushbutton
Apart from that, I had a noisy fourth gear on an R100RS BMW I had years ago. Gear box ended up lockin up when going through a cutting down a windy hill. Me legs were flying everywhere, but lucky I never stacked the mutha. Almost killed me. 2 gears, a layshaft & 5 bearings. Get it fixed before it kills ya! While your at it you may as well bung a high ratio 5th & 6th & 1st gear in the mutha.

It isn't the chain issue.
Had the same problem with the old chain and sprockets.
Changed all them when they were worn out and when the new set was installed the problem was still there.

The noise is in all the gears.
I now have to pull the clutch in and out a few times when i first start it up otherwise when you put it into first gear it cluncks very badly.
By doing this it slides into first very nice.

Ayn more ideas are appreciated.

Sounds like air in the clutch system!
The OEM clutch system is not that flash. There's plenty of threads on this around, but basically the slave cylinder seals .... don't seem to very well. Oil gets dirty right back up to master cylinder. If you have dirty oil, a flush and bleed may fix the problem? At only 27k you wouldn't expect the carriers for the plates to have grooves in them, (this can also cause sticking plates). Pull the sprocket cover off and check if the outer seal (more like a dust cover) on the slave cylinder is still there?
