Depending on chroming process (thickness), might pay to screw some blanks into the disc carrier bolt holes to keep chrome out of threads or be prepared to run a tap through after process. Getting chrome on the wheel bearing seating areas & disc carrier to wheel seating flange also is a known headache causer...dremel time involved here......ask GDYUPUndecided
Never ride the A model of anything.

Elbow grease Rod, just like a Wife high maintenance Lol2
The Galespeeds I just got for my new one are gold, (simmo riding not polishing) Biker
If you get them chromed a lot of care will have to be taken when getting new tyres fitted also. Confused

Hey Busa-Rod how about electro-plating it has a chrome type finish and looks mint.
My mate has just done his wheels on a 86 black & gold hypersport GSXR1100 and looks very nice in need.
I've been told it's a bit like power coating and I know if I'm going to do anything with a set of wheels I'm going to get this done. My mate has had them on the bike a couple of months now and has mentioned that they give the appearence of a polished wheel but have the ease of cleaning like powder coating.

It cost him about $1200 with postage ( This was from WA to East )
