can someone help me. i want to get a hayabusa when i get my open liscence but i am not sure what bike to get. i am almost 200cm tall and 100kg. i live in queensland and the new laws are the 660cc limit under a certain kilowatts per tonne. i don't want a 250 because they feel like a pocket rocket to me. i was thinking a Hyosung gt650r

cheers any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Party-smiley-018Biker

My favourite L-plate compliant bike is the GS500F. They have nice brakes and all the get up and go you need at that stage. They have sexy styling so you don't have to apologise for your first bike, and they keep their resale value because they are recognised as one of the best L-plate compliant bikes.

Also, bits don't fall off them like they do with the Hayosungs.

Bigfoot,
I know of a couple of people with the hyo 650 and they love em. Fit a set of devil pipes and they sound like a Ducati. Nice bike to ride and a cheap way to get started.

Hyosung an asian Ducati with better build quality.Pi_tongue
