Yes, this was the impetus for the loop. Once I'd done this I realised how good the busas were at touring. Initially I was going to do the loop on my own. Bruce said I was a dickhead and couldn't do it on my own, Simmo loves to join in, and suddenly there was three of us and off we went. No planning, no real idea, why the hell not.

I had a home made straw/tube once for a trip to Bathurst, so I could drink whilst being pillioned. (I didn't think of the other tube that was to be needed later on!!)

On the postie challenge, we end up in Broome. I've had a bit of a look, at 75kms/hr, riding 8 hours a day (piss easy), it would take me 7 1/2 days to get back to Canberra, all via tar roads. Don't think I'm not considering it!
