Question on Fuel Injectors Cleaning.
#1
Hi Guys,

Today I found a Injector cleaner some MRJ Mobile Injector Cleaner. I have a 00 Busa with 71000 KM.

Need to know if
• Injector cleaning really would help me.
• Should I get the injectors out and give him (cleaning costs only 140$)
• If he removes it then its 298$ for the complete job.
• Do we have a D.I.Y. for removing and refitting the injectors on the site.

BTW there is nothing wrong with the bike Trophy, just though of getting it done if the difference is noticeable.

Cheers,

Bill

big diff for me when I did it @ 65,000km - IMO - pull them & hand them over for flow testing & cleaning :)

pull the airbox off then undo the phillips head screws and the electrical commector off each injector and there off.Hand them to him.no1 is the end of the injector rail and always seems to be the dirtiest then just use techron occasionally.

What about putting some over the counter injector cleaning additive in the tank now and again ? I use the Wynes or Nulon in my BMW every few thousand Klm's and it seem to run smoother. Not sure how well it works with the Busa's, I've only just added some this weekend.
