EXHAUST NOISE AND REG IN VIC
#1
Hey there yall.

Have just moved to vic, and want to register my bike. It has a 4 into 1 Yoshi system. Yeah, its a bit noisy. What issues am I gonna have? What is the go with those stickers you get to put on your pipes?? I never took much notice before coz I only had stock system. Vic roads guy said I would need an engineering certificate - I told him he was dreemin..

Any information that could assist, I would be much gratefull.

PS, am looking forward to catching up with you VIC guys soon as I get on the road,.

Hope all is going well for you down there mate. You could always stick the stock system back on for the first major inspection then swap back to the Yoshi.

I'll be down in Melbourne Wednesday but only for a quick one dayer in Laverton. Next time I'm down for an overnighter I'll give you a yell.

I'm flying back from N.C. tomorrow. Yahoo.

Good luck with the new job!

I moved to Melb in Jan 07. My bike is still registered in Qld. I don't intend to change it over. I'll just keep paying the Qld rego.

No worries thenn. There is a bike shop in richmond that I used to use when I lived in Melb with my blackbird. Ill take it down to them and see what they recommend. I still have all my original pipes and headers and stuff, so will change over if they reacon its clost to being too loud. Everything going well I should have my bussa down here next week, so hopefully in the next wk or 2 will be on the road again.

God I cant wait.

See yall soon.

Did you get a removable baffle with the yoshi system ? Just slip's in the tailpipe & makes a fair bit of difference. Ive got one sitting around if you want to use it for the inspection. Easier than swapping systems around.

Negative. I do not have a baffle. It wasnt a new in the box system when I got it. Thank you for the offer. If the guys in the shop reacon its gonna be too loud, I just might take you up on the offer.

Thanks again.
