Parking lights ?
#1
UndecidedA question on parking lights? I have a Australian compliance 1999 Busa and it has no park switch or park light globe fitted. The headlights come's on when the ignition is switched on and it has the usual dip ,high beam switch but no park position on the ignition. Are all the Busa's this way ? I'm curious because both my other bikes have park light positions on thier ignition switches.I never gave it a thought until a cop queried me when checking the lights.

Not on a 99er

You can find the parking light switch at the wreckers sometimes. Same as a TL switch. Someone told me Suzuki also sell them new for about 100 bucks.

BTW later models have a hazard light switch fitted where yours has a blanking plate.

BikerNo key snapping, but I am positive there is no position for a park light on the ign switch or on the handlebars, I was just curious if all Busas brought into Australia are manufactured without park lights ?

I believe so, those that have fitted the parkers are DIY.

Very Happy Hi gents I have a Gen1 07 and it has the parker position on the ignition switch.I know because I turned the key to it & went out for a few hours not noticing the rear brake light on & flattened the damn battery.Eek
