I will be taking a ride down the Putty Rd and out to Bilpin for lunch on Sunday 24th September.

Anyone who wants to meet at the Half Way House at about 10am is welcome.

This ride is still on depending on the weather.
Having done the same route on the way down and back from the Island, I can say it is a pearler of a ride subject to traffic.

Not sure if I can make it, may have to go to WSID to have my bike inspected, won't know till Friday night ???

No can do have to be at WSID at 10am for tech inspection
you get that with the fast Copper ones
but I and some others will be going out later that afternoon to Wisemans Pub I think ( we have Busa no 3 landed in our street as of last night ) we also have a dud-catti & a hardlygo-Davidson,

I drove from Sydney to Canberra today. Very strong winds and lots of debris, some of it large. Saw a few bikes on the road and thought "Sh1t". What a day to be riding.

Now I just caught the back end of a news report that said a 53 yr old motorcyclist died when a large branch fell on him while riding.

Hope you all got home safe today.

Yeh,, poor bastard. I was hit by some small ones through Stanwell Tops nat park and nearly lost the front 2 or 3 times into corners by hitting branches hidding in the shadows..Velly close. Cheers,
