Suspension Try This
#1
Hi all, was just looking at my original post and thinking what a wanker who do I think I am telling people how to set their bikes up. Read something once that stuck with me " If you think your bike rides and handles well then it does! " A few clicks here and there can make a big difference and I often thought this is better but just how good can it really get or is this the best it will ever be. Then I came across Robbie Bugdens dad who taught young Robbie everything he knows and Robbie aint doing too bad on the race tracks these days, I followed his advice and whamo the Busa was always fast but now its quick as well, Maybe as good as it can be and a lot better than it was when i was following the advice to be found on the internet, so here's the secret if you've got nothing better to do try this. ( you might be pleasantly suprised )

Front preload scew em all the way in, unless you weigh less than 80kg, then leave a line or two showing.
Rear preload 15 - 20 mm of thread showing above the locknuts. ( I go close to 20 cause I stick my wife on the back every now and then and make her hang on for dear life she loves it )

Front compression 4 clicks
rebound 3 clicks
Rear compression 7 clicks
rebound 10 clicks
For those of you who think your Busa is a lumbering beast these settings will transform it into a comfy but a little heavy 600 supersport.

note: not for the k8 model ( I dont have one of those )
