A few of us up in and around Newcastle are now using Chris Watson MC at Cessnock for workbook services.

He is a former state and national MX champion and runs a very good workshop.
His mechanics are already looking after at least four K8 busas.

Here is the checklist (was attached to my invoice) from my first service for anyone who is interested:

Change engine oil, type SX4
Replace oil filter
Inspect air filter
Synchronize throttle bodies
Set throttle position sensor
Check for air and oil leaks around motor
Check brake operation
Check brake fluids
Service battery
Check tyre pressures and condition
Check wheel and steering head bearings
Lube cables
Set throttle and clutch cable free
Grease lever pivots
Clean, lube and adjust drive chain (Note: adjustment good, no change.)
Set wheel alignment
Check torque on chassi bolts
Check electrics and switches
Check head light setting
Test ride and final check
Check lever and pedal positions
Bike detailed (appeared on invoice, not the attached checklist)
