Blueprinting is just a generic term used when the engine is stripped to the last nut and bolt and built to very high and consistent standards. Clearances are matched bearing to bearing, pistons and rods are matched for weight (and also end to end weights and lengths for the rods). Cams are dialled in so probably adjustable camwheels fitted. It's really just a case of making the engine as close to spec as possible and matching cylinder to cylinder as close as possible. There's a few guys in the club who must have been down this road doing their race engines, so over to them!

If cams are the main interest, check out Schnitz site. There atre no doubt others that sell the same bits. They have a kit of a new inlet cam that replaces the outlet cam (seems to be the go) and then a set of adjustable cam wheels.
