Well the Kawasaki has got shit bracking system.and we cant change that ,but we can work on pads,he used the factory pads and after lap 3 on both races the lever went to the handle bar,so in a safety call they brought him in on the first race and he had same probs in 2nd race but managed 11th.
a family member has a kwak shop.  their track  zx6 and zx10 were using carbon pads of some sort and those things see you stop real quick.. not sure exactly what they are using

Yeh Ferodo have the carbon pads also there is a couple of specialist places in the UK and Italy that we can get some .. Also we have to get a remote adjuster for the brake cyl. as the lever jusr went to the bar after lap 3. Other than that he was on the pace with a very used motor. which will be replaced for the Qls round.

If the lever is comming back to the bars, then its not a pad problem, its the fluid or air in the lines, any dipshit knows that?:eyes:
BACK IN BLACK!!!

They also have an adjustable steering dampner.. its not the ohlins one though and you can adust it by turning the knob right in front of you rather than reaching forward like the ohlins one.. I didnt realise how much difference it made until i played with it.

Rocketrod Wrote:If the lever is comming back to the bars, then its not a pad problem, its the fluid or air in the lines, any dipshit knows that?:eyes: Rockett some pads generate more heat than is wanted ,hence the oil will boil, we use the Brembo brake cyl. so there is plenty of pressure, we will try pad combination eg Ferodo,Alth or i think performance friction. wish i could stick on the ceramic rotors FARKK And yes it does happen sometimes with the air but these dudes go over it all again and again. |
