An Observation:
I drove down to Melbourne the other weekend(the wife wouldn't let me strap the new baby to the tank)
When I noticed that the Victorian Government are being extra nice to motorcycle riders by telling them when a really nice windy bit of road is coming up. I came in from Sydney turning off at Benalla and going down the 'slide', I returned via the 'black spur' for old times sake. It was then that I noticed that every time I was about to come up to a particularly nice set of corners there was a sign telling me of their (or rather my) approach. The sign said something like "Warning Motorcycle accident area ahead" - The roads in these areas seemed fine, or rather, actually really good hotmix and great corners. (Maybe it's code for - pass everything in front of you now, and hang ooooonnnn. )
cheers,
WARD
