What a awesome experience, to anyone whose never done a long tour on a bike i suggest do it. Also sorry Adrian and Graeme that i didn't call yous for a ride (and a beer). As you know it rained heaps over the last 2 weeks and i didn't get as much riding in as i liked but saw most of the Hinterland from Nerang to Murwillimbah, Nimbin, Lismore and Byron, all terriffic rides.

No worries mate - next time hey. I would encourage anyone to come up here and go for a tear on our most excellent roads.
Adrian,
A lovely part of the world you have up there. I flew up 4 weeks ago to pick up a new Aprilia Falco for my lady from Maroochy. Had 28k's on the clock when I was pinged the first time, 15 and over :"> and plate obscured . Made it another 22k's and had my photo taken, damn plate wasn't hiding this time though, was it .
After that, 50k's of a 1250k ride, I thought, 'what the', and ran the bike in the way it will probably always be ridden, somewhat like the bus I expects, not quite flat out but quicker than anyone else cares to venture.
Suffice to say, that the Falco is now well and truly run in, with surprising grunt I may add, and didn't see (and hopefully wasn't seen) by another camera the rest of the way home.
Don't know of too many bikes that in under 24 hours from new, have 1300k's on the clock and had it's first service. Works for me though.
Goldie and Jules.
You can really be unlucky sometimes!! - I bet you hadnt been nabbed for a while before that (perhaps not though!!)
I like the look of those falco's - used to miss the V-twin when I got the Busa - had a VTR beforehand. I REALLY like the look of the Truno R - mmmm.
A really nice part of the ride home was the Cunningham hwy thru Cunningham's gap. What awesome roads and scenery, shame it was raining though but still a good ride.
