Out of State bike - what are the costs to rego it in NSW ?

Hi... spoke to a guy today who is considering buying a Vic registered bike and bringing it to NSW. He was asking about the process - but more especially - the costs of registering it here with new plates. He was of the impression it would cost over $500 + rego + greenslip.

Does that sound right ? I thought you just took it for a Rego inspection then the costs were (around) $88 for the new plates + rego + greenslip.

Anyone been through this process ? The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob

$96 then $60 for personalised plate if you have one 29/04/06
