IRIDIUM SCREEN

Dunno if they make Iridium screens for the bus, but think twice if you are getting one. Bloke on another forum bought one for his bike, parked it in the sun in the morn. and went to work. Went out to bike for a quick squirt at lunch, LCD speedo fried and hole burnt into tacho!!

This may have been posted up before, but first I have heard of it.

Is that cuase of the iridium, or is it cuase of the screen itself acting like a magnified glass?

Dunno, I am assuming the last screen he had was a similar shape and didn't melt the f*** out of the guages??

Gday shane, I have had a double bubble blue iridium powerbronze on my bus for a few years with no probs but I have heard the same rumour.Is it an urban myth? Dunno.

I only got it second-hand off the OSB board, might be bullshit, I dunno. I'll post the link up tommorow. Maybe double bubbles don't have the same focal point? The bike in question wasn't a bus anyhow.
