Anyone used one of these? $149 bit pricey for a bracket, but 1) I already got the camcorders 2) looks well made/is adjustable.
Images will be superior on Sony MiniDV but not if my 700g camera vibrates. Otherwise the poorer quality digital/mem card system discussed elsewhere might be the go.

I have one of these brackets and have had some success with it. Budget for a wide angle lens for the video camera and depending on the speed you may need to look at which battery you run. There is significant vibration with the 4hr battery on the back of my Sony camcorder (HRC20E) but the 1hr is as steady as a rock.
It will also be an issue if you want to get down behind the fairing with the camera as it can be a pain. And you would look to give the camera a toss of you got pulled by the plod.
Otherwise......get one. Regards

When I arrived home I discovered that the new JVC Eviro 30 gig hard drives video cameras do not like vibration. So I got nothing!!!
Had to do it agin with the Olympus camera with the video mode. Worked a treat!
All on a track under supervised conditions!
