Can some help with a map for a Power Commander 2 with Yoshi 4-1 and K&N filter that has
had it remapped on a dino? Anything similar would be good too.
I have a 99 Bus with the above and stock map for the Yoshi pipe.
Please email gcluley@metz.une.edu.au
Turtle I have a 99 with K&N and slipons , i have played around with this one to suit mine ( give it a go ) i just kept changing the areas that were playing up a bit at a time 1500_2000 etc test run etc, i will send it tonight when the boss gets home (because i don't know how) Regards Robert
Thank's simmo for your map. I've been doing the same thing playing with the maps to try and get it right. Just thought it might be easier if I had a bit of help. I've had to lean it out a bit over 3000rpm to 11000. I'm having more trouble under 3000rpm just to get it right.
Turtle riding and tinkering.....
Keep tinkering Turtle, when get it as close as you can could you please send a copy back to me so i can give it run in mine at ( Kazbah@myplace.Net.au ) If anyone else has any maps on power commander 2 could you e-mail them to me also, i may be to put them up on this site somehow to share around. Regards Robert
Turtle, Yeah thanks been there done that been through that mine-field , mine is going good on what i sent you but would like to test try others. Regards Robert
How did you go Turtle ???????????
G'day simmo,
I'm still working on getting it right. I think it has
more to do with the pipe than the fuel injection. It works fine over 3,000 rpm but it's hard to get it right under that. Thanks again. Turtle.
G'day fellas,
I am trying to get hold of the patch cable PC11 to Laptop so I can reinstall the PC11 and try some more maps.I'm also running a Yoshi 4-1 and K&N filter and fitted the PC11 to try and remove the flat spot at 3500-4000 RPM,and the PC11 whilst giving it stronger mid/top end(I think)made the flat spot worse.Any tips much appreciated

Simplest fix is to remove power commander, have bike dyno run and mapped .....................guaranteed to rectify problem .................if done correctly. Otherwise have fuel map "custom" built for bike which is more expensive with little if any advantage at all. (on a stock engine)

Spot on FF1,
bottom line is the purchase of Power Commander with minor mods is a waste of money , secondly playing around with someone elses map is also a waste of time and very frustrating. Sorry to say but your chances of coming up with an ideal solution going down this path isn't very good.
The std ECU will allow approx 10% variation in fuel A/R.

Turtle If you are still playing with PC2 and still have down low problems , i have pulled out flapper from the air filter box today & put every thing back together how it was found, hoses etc i am still using same map i sent you seems to be going good - will give a good test run tomorrow Regards Robert
