They will be mate, but I don't think they are as yet ..
A google search can't come up with a date either ..

And I don't think it will be a matter of removing yours if the bike is released with one it would have to stay.
So just for new bikes produced without one would be legal .

We hope there will be a final transgression of design principles from new bikes to existing bikes to the point where each States rules on wheel guards exclude the current over extension

We still need mudguards. The 45 degree bit of plastic is no longer required. Woody

Some brand new bikes are borderline or fail the ADR requirements.
I see it as making these now legal in AU. I'd be surprised if it means hacking everything off or fitting an undertray is now legal.
