Best Prodcuts to Make Bug Removal Easy

Folks,

What do people use to make it easier to clean the bugs etc from their bike. Ive heard Mr Sheen is good (which Ive used). Anyone use silicon spray, Amrmour-all or other products?

thanks in advance.

Plexus gets my Pi_thumbsup

By that I mean keeping a good layer of Plexus on makes the bugs and any other matter stick less, so it's easier to wash them off.
Mr Sheen works as it leaves a thin silicone layer on the paint surface. Lots of similar things work, as well as polish and shine type products from Auotglym, Meguires, Mothers etc etc but of course they all need to be kept well away from brake rotors and pads.

I just like Plexus cause it also gives the paintwork a nice deep look, plus I can get it through work.

+1 for Mr Sheen. Been using it for 20+ years. Even travelled with a can down to Tassie. Also use it to clean the bugs off my helmet visor, geez they have some bug's down in Tassie, was cleaning the helmet visor up to 4 times a day!

Just polishing your bike will help. I've tried a few products like Plexus, Mr Sheen etc... and found them much of a much.
Armour-All wheel protectant worked well (used that on my old bike), but found this and thought it might be worth a try from the WD40 specialist line http://www.wd40specialist.com/products/s...lubricant/

Urine....just piss on it when its hot....like when you get to the pub....make sure all your mates and the general public can see you doing it as this helps the bug removal process more fun....

Just kidding I use turtle wax...similar to any other wax products. I have also used coloured wax to avoid the white marks where the dings are.
Smoke me a kipper I'll be home in time for breakfast

Have to agree with everything mentioned already..

Keeping your bike or car polished will always make it easier to clean I use Maguire's, Mr Sheen & if you ever seen it around a product called FW1 ( http://www.fw1.com.au/ ) I have found to be very good and it's also waterless as well just don't show the cook because it is awesome on glass in your bathrooms & mirrors and doesn't seem to need as much cleaning

Otherwise once the buys are on the bike I use warm soapy water and plenty of it and I always wash the front of the bike as a minimum as soon as I get home which makes a big difference to a weeks later.

Or spray with truck wash/ water, leave for 10 mins, then hose off....seems to get rid of most of the suicidal critters.
