Just bought my first bike that has more cylinders than it has wheels (from one to four ! ;-) ). Interesting changing in perspective ... already benefited from the various threads members have contributed re fairings, exhaust, etc etc. Thanks and looking forward to contributing in the future !
Cheers ...

Welcome DR!
Tell us more. Is it a 99 model in red/black colours, or did you go for a lesser model?

congrates on your brave new purchase...

if new to bikes then the busa is definitely a high learning curve, if new to busa's then you will love the difference LOL

So Black, White or Red????

Basic black ... gen2 2012. I'm not so much new to bikes, but coming from a 650 dual sport thumper theres not a lot to compare and feeling quite new to the busa. Need to do some trips south to where they have these things called "corners" - I hear it's even more fun when you have them ;-)

You lucky bugger Mr Draught.

But then again - every one that owna a hayabusa is lucky!

just remeber when you get to those corners, she'll take a fair bit more bar input to turn quickly than a big wide bar thumper. Enjoy!

Thanks for the replies - it really is a bike that puts a wide smile on my face. I find myself looking at the speedo thinking "what????" :-) Lots more ponies than a 650 thumper - not sure what the chicken strips are :-) Having some fun installing oggies and bar (old fart) risers - got some Yoshi's on their way. Looking forward to the derestricted speed up here in Feb !!
