mine blows the fuel pump fuse every now and then did it last november, then did it on thursday again ,about to cut the wiring off the fuse box and move the fuse up under the tail for easy access

if your running an aftermarket fuel pump you need a 15 amp fuse ,no need to hack something unnessarily

ok a loaded pump or worn pump could have a higher current draw too
i have not amp tested a std pump, but it may be worth a look at

Blocked fuel filter will raise current draw too.
Don't be tempted to fit a higher amperage fuse. Or a three inch nail.

no hope of the blocked fuel filter as its gutted and is fitted with with a large steel efi filter
