Yep all ok..lucky only going slow and landed on my head .
had blonde moment and didn't check tank bag strap..it caught in triple tree and locked steering when I turned off Hwy..could of been worse.I was following Beau and his mates and speeds only got faster..

Ouch, I feel your pain, between us we have a good bike, your L/H side and My R/H side., I think I recieved more bruises from kicking myself for being so stupid, I know it happens, but doesnt make me feel any better

At least your ok mate. Regardless, it was great to meet you. That's a bloody great place to ride Queenstown area.... I was speachless, and rushing my tit's off at the same time. Bikes can be fixed or replaced, but us riders are all one off's mate.

Oh I was rushing as much as the lovely state of Tasmania would legally allow... ;)

I done similar damage a couple of weeks ago after hitting some gravel on a corner, so i feel your pain!
Unfortunately, I'm not able to get back to work yet ;-(
On a side note: I noticed that I don't bounce along the road like I did when I was younger.

Yeah it suxs. Look like my gen 1 red/silver my first ever club run in sydney doing the putty loop.
Pitty about the pipes tho. But good reason to get something else bolted on!! :-)
