Hi there all. I have just fitted a Bridgestone 020 on the rear of the bus for $265.00 fitted at home.
The guy does tyres, boots, helmets, leathers, oils etc on the side after work to support his racing habit. The best price I could get for the 020 was $293.00 plus $17 fitting. Thus I saved about $45.00 and he came to me.
As he works from the back of a truck (set up for attending race meetings where he not only races but fits tyres) his overheads are much less so therefore we buy for less.
He has a great range of Bridgestone and Metzler tyres. Can get nearly any boot you might want, I picked up a $480+ pair for $175.00. He has YES and CMS helmets, ranging from $130 to $220 (RRP around the $500 mark). $1800 leather suits for around the grand mark. Huge range of oils, lubes etc.
He's based around the Campbelltown (south-west Sydney) area, not sure how far he will travel. If you are interested, give me a call and I'll pass on some details.
