Water in wheel bearings?
#1
Had plenty of rain up here in the last few days. My busa spent a few minutes with both axles underwater ( freshwater ). I then rode 20 km home in the heaviest rain I've seen in a while and had to ride through approx 30 cm deep water. Will my wheel bearings need some attention or would they be ok? Any advise is appreciated.

Shouldn't the grease repell the water / combined with constant motion work any water back out?
I would be concerned only if you were to now leave the bike sitting stationary for a week or two.

Thanks guys. I just spoke to the dealer who said the bearings should be ok, but if I am worried about it I should change them the next time I get new tyres.
