I moved up from Sydney last September to Parkwood ( near southport and All the fun parks) and am wondering if any one is interested in catching up for informal Coffee/Bullshit nights or else riding some of these local roads ...
Dont believe what those bloody southerners say im a nice bloke...

I'm just inland from there but my riding is restricted to commuting to work at the minute. Spare time is seemingly a thing of the past. But on the plus side its a hell of a nice ride to work through Canungra or Beechmont when the road is open

i was in Maudsland till they built 700 houses and a school next to me. ended up with horrendous neighbours with 2 non stop screaming kids, cars using the street as a racetrack. Front garden was a parking lot for mums with 4wds taking the kids to school, so we moved out to Biddaddaba on 30 acres. No neighbours here just roo's rabbits and horses

I was on Roberts Drive, had trees behind us and was a no through street too. Only 10 houses in it when we moved there. That was part of the appeal. Real estate said that the trees and bush behind us was the nature corridor between Nerang State Forest and Saltwater Creek and couldnt be touched. Stocklands decided otherwise. There was a rumour that on the lower part of Roberts Dr the new residents were taking legal action as they were told the same but now have properties looking directly into them from above
