Rear bike stand
#1
Hi, I have a 2010 Busa and I think it is about time to get a rear bike stand as it is starting to get to be a pain to do normal service work on it.

The question is what is the best stand to get and where to get them from.

I have found this at bikegearwearehouse:

Is this a good product and is the price good?

Any information is greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

Not a fan of the one bolt together stands.
Got a couple. Big bikes and a lot of use has
made the joints lose on mine. They are waiting
to be welded up solid.

I have a basic 1 piece tube type that has been in
constant use for 6 years and its my favorite.
Very stable.

Why overcomplicate something.

Personal taste.
One piece one's for me.

Blue one under the Busa is my favorite.
Red one under the B12 is crap.
Black one under the B-King is nice but sadly
too wide to use on a bench.

Thanks for the replies,
The ones from Kaneg looks like a good setup and half the price of the pit bull.
With the Kaneg ones, they talk about spools or flat platforms.

As i am new to these stands, I am not too sure what they are on about, spools or flat platforms.

I see that you can select the make of your bike but they ask if you want spools or flat platforms, I have no idea.
The bike is a 2010 model.

Any more info is appreciated.
Cheers.

You can swap over the bit that actualy touches the bike.

Most folk buy "bobbins" that bolt to the swingarm.
If you use forked lifter attachments that "cup" these.

You can use flat lifter that fit under the arm. Not so good
on the Busa but I use them on other bikes. Old GSX11's
have no-where to bolt bobbins.

Personaly i'd get both and you have a choice if you ever
want to lift anything else.
