How about Jacksons Pub - west-side of the Southern Alps near Arthurs Pass taken today , 2 hours from Christchurch and enroute to the Greymouth street races.

Good ride and a great day , ps there's more than one 'Busa in the shot .....

Looks great! I'm sure Jackson's Pub has many nice roads, but if you're suggesting "forget Phillip Island", I'm suggesting you've never ridden Phillip Island! LOL

Love to do the PI thing , only in my dreams at this stage sadly.

The quickest Bike in the pic is probably the grey GSX14 on the far right ..Turbo'd and putting out around 230 at the wheel

Relax guys. I think Raph is just trying to say, "this was an awesome stretch of road!!!". Not meant to be a personal insult to those who ride/love Phillip Island track... LOL

Good spotting and...excuse my dry sense of humour ...nothing would beat PI on a bad day but I guess the trip from ChCh over to the Coast through the Porters Pass climb and then over to Arthurs Pass and back is always a good one , 520km return and money in the bank , thats the fun bank . If I could do it every week ..I would .

I've driven that stretch of road in a car, and thought about riding my bike the whole time. Yep, that would be a great ride. Smitten

P.S. heaps better than Phillip Island tooo!! Showback

The road between Newhaven and Cowes is as boring as!
