Hard gloves

Anyone have any tips for loosening up rigid or stiff gloves?

I have a thinner pair but I noticed after being heated in the oven for 5 minutes the rigid gloves allowed much better dexterity.

There might be a hidden solution to this I'm unaware of, some sort of chemical treatment maybe?

Just fishing...

Another from the local equine shop is Coachaline. Rub it in and watch the leather soak it up. The local leather workshop/craft place told us not to put dubbin on as it just clogs the leather without conditioning it. He recommended the Coachaline.

I remember we used to Dubbin all of our leather gear years ago, before Dri-Rider kit came on the market, to waterproof our leathers, well, as much as it would anyway, usually good for an hour and a half in steady rain, eventually you'd feel the little trail of water leaking in around the groin, must umpleasant. Thank Gods for the Dri-Rider style of waterproof kit most of us wear during the winter.

Good leather conditioning solutions actually feed the leather rather than just clogging it up lkike the old Dubbin used to.

My 2 cents worth.
