Tyre pressure's ?
#1
Not sure if to post this under Drag / Tyres or Tech section ?

Trying to get to Willowbank with a few mates soon,
Question is......

Rear Tyre pressure ? Whats best ?
if "A" I need to ride it both ways from Brissy at this pressure,
or "B" If I take a mini-compressor to re-inflate it.

What you Guys running ?

Bike is stock, tyres Pilot Powers, and rider out of practice!

Thanks,

Tony,

If your only going for abit of fun and not to set the world on fire, then I suggest leave the pressures alone.

On the other hand, if you want to kick ass then 50psi in front and 25psi rear, bag it up in the waterbox big time, and launch that sucker as hard as you can, dont forget to slam it with a set of bones and a strap.

Riding with 25 in the rear shouldn't cause problems for a short time. (rode mine at 15psi on short trips for ages)
Latter on find a servo and fix up the pressures.

Too easy.....

Yep what Leonard said, there is a servo within 2k's of the track so riding that far on an under inflated tyre wont hurt it.

The old man took it with his stills camera, first video he has ever taken on it and it happened to be my best run. The photobucket thingy zoomed in so most of the shot is missing, the actual vid looks better and the shaking doesn't seem so bad when not zoomed in.

I am trying to work out how to post the vid up properly.
