Hey Grant and welcome to the forum.

Both of the busa's I've owned have been a bit 'corse' at those revs. I was slightly concerned when I noticed it on the 1st bike, but when the next 1 came along with the same issue, I figure its a built in thing.

Hope you enjoy the ride Biker

It's what I call the legal speed buzz warning. If you sit on about 120 indicated on my bike its as smooth as silk but at 125 you get the buzz warning. lol. Mine is a 2008 GenII. The same buzz was on my 99 model at about 4500RPM.

I never thought of it that way.I think its 105 in 5th gear.At least there is nothing wrong with motor/gearbox.Just had first service today.Be a good week in tassy starting sunday.cheers

Gen 2 it appears on mine at dead on 5000 revs any gear or 125km/h in top as Busgo says, some reviewers even complained about it which is fair enough, I have done 49000ks now and still the same so it doesn't go away just a resonance, my Firestorm vibrates worse at any rpm lol.

I'd call it a little bit of resonance in the system - vibration is what I got on my KTM 625!
