Stolen Vehicle Recovery System (Tracking System)
#1
I have been looking around the Forum and can't find anything about trackers.
It would be great to hear if anyone has installed a Tracker in their bike to help if stolen or other reasons.

I know it is more of an American thing to have a "low jack" as they call it but it just pains me to know that when a bike is stolen you know it is out there somewhere but some greedy thief has it.

From what I have been looking for they are small like a mobile phone and use both the GPS and GSM networks. It would be handy as they can be used to log distances and map routes taken ect. It seems you can log online to view distances, speeds, time ect and they have a "mandown" function for when they are put down or dropped on side. Which is great for the worst case scenario when riding alone.

One problem is that maybe it can be tracked by police and those couple of high speed sprints out the back of know where could end up setting off alarm bells with the local red and blue?

Best of all it would have to lower insurance don't you think. or maybe raise the insurance due to the high risk of all of the above.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
