4in to 1 change ?

My gen 2 has a 4in1 system with yoshi can . If i was to take system off and replace with 4into 2 with yoshi cans will the bike need to be put on dyno it does have 2 power comanders 1 fuel and 1 ignition .
Or take power comanders out as well and get ecu flashed ?

Rod when i had my Gen2 when i changed from standard exhaust to a 4to1 it made a big difference bike ran a bit rough and wasnt smooth in terms of power delivery. once i had it tuned it was good again. i imagine going backwards would be much the same. are you looking at putting standard headers back on with slipons or an aftermarket 4to2system? you could sell the PC's off to fund the flash just a thought.

in that case id at least look at just removing the pc's. we took a 4-1 system off a bike up here that had a tuned pc on it and replaced it with all stock headers and mufflers and it ran like a pig, disconnected the pc and it ran like stock again as they do. sorry i cant offer anything more technical than that mate.

if it was mine and you have a good tuner near by I would remove the pc's and flash, less things to go wrong plus as mentioned above you could recoup some of the cost of the flash from selling them.

If your going back to 4-2 just pull the PC off it will be fine
If your keeping it & what it spot on re-Flash heaps better nothing can go wrong with it, (did I tell you I HATE Power Commanders )

Looks for me i prefer a busa with twin cans
