Anybody else have trouble paying $120 for a set of plugs for a gen2????
Mine has just on 12thou on the odo. been running like a pig the last couple of weeks.

Have had ngk9e's go 20k in a gen1.

just put a set in the gen2. certainly goes better. will see how they go in the long term.

anybody else tried.???????

can source the iridiums for about a tenner each on the net. cant see the point if they foul up so easy.

30000 on original spark plugs so far. Asked at each service from 12000km if I would like to change plugs but opted to max use while working ok.

Not sure which you are using, but spec from 08 says NGK CR9EIX and for 10 it lists CR9EIA. Obviously these are Iridium.
There is a USA bike outlet advertising on ebay called RIDERS NEEDS that advertise packs of four ( dial in NGK Hayabusa) for $32.95 plus $14.80 postage.
Don't know anything about them but they have a top feedback rating.
Generally find postal delivery times slow, but they generally turn up.
Am going to order a set for my GSXR 1000 so will see what happens.

I think its funny that a state of the art motorcycle with all the latest and greatest components needs plugs every 12,000kms and not just any old plugs the best of the best. $80.00 in perth

HI,
Just as a follow up to my post if any one is interested.
I sent to Riders Needs as I listed and ordered a set of four Iridium plugs for my GSXR1000.
Received them today- 12 days after ordering.
They are genuine NGK plugs, made in Nagoya,Japan.
Total cost to me has been $52.00 Aus.before the latest dollar rise.
Local bike shop wanted $25.00 each.
Price for Busa plugs was the same per pack.
Am going to ask if they combine shipping costs for multiple items.
