Fixed cameras being switched off in UK areas
#1
This has been happening in areas of Italy and the UK for a few years now - here are 2 of the latest.

Was listening to a UK radio station today.

Swindon district switched off their fixed cameras a year ago because (as their spokeman stated) "accidents where going up, so they were clearly not a safety feature and 1 year on, accidents are no longer going up".

Oxford area are about to switch their's off now, but they are doing it because they can't afford to run them anymore in these economic times.

I reckon if we ride and drive like nuns for a couple of years, they'll become a liability rather than an asset, and would have to go. Knuppel2
