JUST SUPPOSE I was watching a bike on ebay in Adelaide..... if I won the damn thing would an Adelaide member be able to race over and check it actually existed before I deposited money? Just my luck I'd send it to a Nigerian who's uncle runs the local banking system!
It still has a bit of time to go, I'll tell you how I go. If I win it I'll get the guy to throw it on a truck for me.
Cheers

hayabusa : nipponese for "most superb sports tourer"
have the bike inspected before the auction ends heidi . its much safer that way as then you dont have to go through all the other crap with ebay and reporting , if its bogus then you simply dont have to bid on it .

It is a project, so it is a POS. I've only bid up to what I'm prepared to pay (which isn't much). If it was worth anything I'd get someone to go ride it. As it is, it really doesn't matter.
Thanks heaps Haerara, if I get it I'll take you up on that.
Cheers

i'm sure one of us here can do that for you heidi, just post up when you need it done
That's what I was figuring, thanks heaps for the offer. If I don't get it, I'll post up what it is I want and you can all keep an eye out for me! I've decided to learn STUFF this year!
It was either this or French, and that is too much of a cliche.
Didn't get the bike, it went for a little more than I was willing to pay. It was a Suzuki GT550, little two-stroke and the first of Suzuki's RAM air bikes. Beautiful little bike, I have to have one. I'm just going to keep my eye on the trading post, ebay and all the usual suspects. I want one as a project. I don't know yet if I would turn it into a cafe racer, or have it as a track bike. If anyone sees one for sale, give me a heads up. I want it to be running, cosmetically it can be shit, I want to learn to play with the engine before I worry about anything else. The one I was bidding on was a wreck, but DAMN it was beautiful.
A girl needs a project.
