yeah i had a great time too- will definitely go back. there might have been a funeral procession going on but not where members from this club were! had to disappoint the local policia with their setup in khancoban- got warned by bikes coming the other way (luckily). all they achieved was a bit of revenue raising and wrecking peoples weekend making it less likely for them to return. on a happier note- keno two, SS commodores with flashing lights zero. one of them is for you nivo!!

When this sort of thing happens it sometimes pays to let the Snowy Ride themelves know. There was an issue about 5 years ago where the Highway Patrol descended on the ride like a pack of crows, seeing the obvious revenue to be raised. There was significant political lobbying afterwards, which lead to the current policy of, unless you are being a complete tool, they will caution rather than fine.
Did these cops know where you had come from and what you were doing. Was your speed really excessive. I reckon ~20 over should be leniency in this circumstance.
niv was doing 81 in a 60 zone..he went back too look where the sign was.
our friends had been pulled up only minutes before him doing the same speed..
what we noticed was they would pull the gun out when they could hear a noisy bike rounding the corner..the next one after niv got done for 91.
the bikes were like deers caught in headlights.perfect setup they had..
the majority from threadbo to khancoban is 80 and apparently a few 60km/hr spots..they picked it well.
look ok hubs was doing the wrong thing.would have rather given the money too the snowy ride instead of state revenue..
i felt like saying to them are you proud of yourselves???but held back cause niv was mightly pissed off at them..he needed a calm situation.

Buggar! Didn't know that Nivo copped a ticket.
I hope his ticket was only for 15k over and max of 3 points.
I didn't see a single police vehicle on the way home till I got to the F3 freeway north of Sydney.

We have a few of the mass ride, but the camera space was full so there is not that many. I will try to upload them onto Busgo's photo thread tomorrow.

ok demerit the licence 3 points but give the money to the snow run...
our mate that was pulled up before us..
he has cancer! has had areshole removed.
has a bag on his tummy.
he said as he rode along what he would have liked to say to the guys in blue....
i have no arsehole but i see two in front of me now!...
mate has still cancer cells in body..they can pop up an where.ie like lungs liver ect....

dunno about the death but pub talk was two injured on road between jindy and dalgety. i thought they managed to ride away though
