I have just put a new set of Michelin Pilot Powers on my busa. I have been told to run the front at 36psi and the rear at 42psi. As these are fairly soft compound tyres are these tyre pressures right. I previously had a set of HPX's on it, which were absolutely shitful and was running them at 42psi both front and rear. Any advice is welcome.

Yeh 36 front ok and 40 rear ok,if your a medium build, if your around 110kgs 39 front and 42 rear. Cheers,

Thanks for that. I'll give those pressures a try and see how it goes. They are a great tyre and inspire a lot of confidence and it feels like you're on rails. When your wellbeing hinges on a patch the size of a handprint, you need all the grip you can get. I'm in Victoria and they cost me $500 (from Mick Hone Suzuki) for the set plus fitting. Any suggestions where I might get them cheaper.

Still sorting it out Chris, getting there, slowly.
Tell me what you want and I can ask on your behalf on Monday if you want.

Thanks Stewart. Pretty right at the moment. I have just put the new set on and they should last for a couple of thousand ks (I hope). I just needed to know if there was someone, preferably out east (Ringwood) who doesn't charge like wounded bulls. A mate had a set of Powers fitted to his Blade on Thursday for $375 but he knew the chap. I guess it's just a case of knowing someone in the industry.
