On my gen1 I just paid $150 for a set of front pads. I imagine Gen 2 will be about the same. I think they were EBC and double sintered. Prior to this I had a set that I bought on the net that lasted about 10,000 km (still had some meat on them but changed them when I got a new front tyre).
The difference in the braking was astounding (im not exagerating). The eBay pads were "not good" and with the Gen1's not having a great rep for braking i wasn't too concerned. with the EBC's I was almost thrown over the bars the first time I used them - moral of the story there is a big difference in brands. Cheers Steven
Yep Dan. Rear pads every year.
Although, after 18,000 so far the rears still have plenty of meat on them.

MCAS in Granville has DP sintered HH for $119.95 for a complete front set. They were running out EBC till they got rid of them but don't think they were giving much dicsount, about the same price as the DP's.

This may be a bit late but Martin from Aussie Parts just did me a set of the EBC HH for $150 delivered. I've gotten a few sets from him over the years for various bikes and he has never let me down!
Email him on aussieparts@ozemail.com.au and tell him Lawrence sent you! |
